Rack & Stack in Sweden

Rack assembly, rail kits, server and switch mounting, load-balanced placement and labelling to a documented standard. delivered in Sweden by engineers who work to the standards, safety regime and documentation expectations of this market. Mobilisation from Stockholm in 14 hours. The Nordics win on low-carbon power and cool climates, and Swedish operators are early adopters of energy and emissions reporting. Expect questions about travel carbon, material EPDs and whether your work supports their CSRD disclosures.

The Sweden market

The Nordics win on low-carbon power and cool climates, and Swedish operators are early adopters of energy and emissions reporting. Expect questions about travel carbon, material EPDs and whether your work supports their CSRD disclosures.

We mobilise from Stockholm with a target of 14 hours to site. Stockholm hub gives fourteen-hour mobilisation. Gothenburg and Malmö are served by scheduled mobilisation from Stockholm or Copenhagen.

How we deliver rack & stack here

Rack build-out in Sweden is measured against SS-EN 50173 and SS-EN 50174, and the detail that decides a sign-off is usually mechanical: rack orientation against the containment envelope, correct blanking, and cable entry that does not fight the airflow. Our teams work to 14-hour mobilisation from Stockholm.

  • Rack positioning and levelling verified against the facility's containment layout before any equipment is unpacked
  • Blanking panels fitted to every unused U — a routine omission that measurably raises inlet temperature in Sweden's higher-density halls
  • Cable entry from overhead tray or underfloor, matched to the facility's own routing convention rather than imposed on it
  • PDU mounting and phase balance recorded per rack, with 230/400 V, 50 Hz feeds confirmed before power-on
  • Weight and seismic/floor-loading checks where the facility specifies them

Standards and compliance in Sweden

Work is signed off against the standards that actually apply here, not the ones our engineers are most familiar with. In Sweden that means SS-EN 50173 and SS-EN 50174 as the primary reference, with iec 61935-1 certification as the test regime.

Site safety runs under Arbetsmiljöverket requirements and site-specific risk assessment. We supply certificates before mobilisation rather than on request.

Standards applied on site

  • SS-EN 50173 and SS-EN 50174 for cabling
  • SS-EN 50600 for facility design and operations
  • SS 437 01 40 (Elsäkerhetsverket regulations) for electrical installation
  • EU GDPR supervised by IMY
  • NIS2 through the Swedish implementation
  • CSRD sustainability reporting for in-scope operators

Site access and safety

Swedish facilities are generally efficient about access with 24 hours notice and photo ID. Some require a signed personuppgiftsbiträdesavtal where personal data could be touched.

  • Arbetsmiljöverket requirements and site-specific risk assessment
  • Elsäkerhetsverket competence rules for work on electrical installations

Local questions

Working in Sweden

Can you report the carbon footprint of your interventions?

Yes. We log distance, mode and materials per job and can report travel and embodied carbon, which supports your Scope 3 and CSRD disclosures.

Do you work in Swedish?

Our engineers work in English by default in Stockholm facilities and can brief site staff in Swedish where needed. Full Swedish-language documentation is available on request.

How do you cover sites outside Stockholm?

Gothenburg and Malmö are served by planned mobilisation, often combined with the Copenhagen hub to cut travel. We will give you an honest attendance time per site.
