Data center engineering in Spain.

Madrid has become one of Europe's fastest-growing colocation markets, with Marseille–Madrid fibre routes and new subsea landings pulling capacity south. Spanish-language site crews are the norm outside hyperscale campuses.

Access & working windows

Plan around the facility.

CAE documentation (coordinación de actividades empresariales) is routinely required before contractors enter Spanish sites. Allow time for the exchange.

Madrid and Barcelona hubs give six-hour mobilisation on the peninsula. Balearic and Canary Islands work is scheduled, not on-call.

Working languages: Spanish (native), English, Catalan where required.

Power & testing

Verify, then hand over.

230/400 V, 50 Hz. IEC 60320 C13 and C19; Type F on auxiliary circuits.

IEC 61935-1 certification with Spanish-language reporting. Fibre tested to IEC 61280-4-2.

Local questions

Before you build in Spain.

Do you handle CAE documentation?

Yes. We supply the coordination paperwork Spanish operators require before site entry, including risk assessment, training records and insurance certificates.

Can you cover the Balearic or Canary Islands?

Yes, as scheduled mobilisation from Madrid with travel planned in. We quote these as planned projects rather than emergency response, and we say so up front.

Is on-site work done in Spanish?

Yes. Outside the large hyperscale campuses in Madrid, Spanish is the working language, and our engineers brief site staff in Spanish.
